• Main Shop – Our Main Shop takes care of in-shop machine maintenance, basic repair, machine rebuilds, and everything in between. Pickup & delivery of your machine can be arranged through the main shop.
• Specialization Shop – Our Spec Shop features the best in Caterpillar tools and factory trained technicians. Components can be dropped off and picked up at any of our facilities and the components can be transported to either our Pleasant Grove or Stockton facility for repair or rebuild. Cylinder pressure testing, transmission testing and engine dyno services are also available.
• Field Service – Can’t bring your machine in to us or need service on your site in a hurry? Call our Field Service Department for on-site service. With over 40 service trucks spread over our service territory, assistance is never far from where you’re working. We can perform many of the same repairs on site that are available in our Main Shop.
• Welding & Fabrication Shop –  Even the toughest of equipment can break and the thickest of steel can wear thin. Our Welding & Fabrication Shop is fully equipped to deal with the challenges of “stitching” a machine back together. With a 600-ton brake press, we can bend metal up to 1-inch thick. We do more than steel; we also have an Aluminum Tig Welder for your aluminum repair requirements.
• Certified Rebuilds – When most competitive models would require replacement, Caterpillar equipment can be rebuilt to deliver a cost-effective second life. The extensive Caterpillar Certified Rebuild programs incorporate the very latest Caterpillar technology and critical engineering updates into your machine at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Only Caterpillar parts meet the stringent requirements of our rebuild programs. As you’d expect, our quality standards are just as stringent the second time around. Only trained dealer service professionals are qualified to breathe new life into your Caterpillar machine.
• Custom Track Service (CTS) – Undercarriage cost can be over 50% of your machine’s maintenance cost. Get the most wear life you can by allowing a Product Support Representative to measure your machine regularly to extend your undercarriage life.
• Complete Machine Inspection Programs – We provide complete machine inspection programs performed by trained technicians with advanced diagnostic tools. Inspection results are provided to help you make informed equipment management decisions based on your work demands.
• Custom Hydraulic Service – Hydraulic system management minimizes costs and maximizes machine productivity and availability. The focus is on three areas:
  • Contamination Control – More than 70% of hydraulic component failures can be traced to some type of contamination. Expert diagnostics and inspections can help detect problems long before your operators can detect them.
  • SOS Fluid Analysis – Your interpreter provides expert analysis of component wear rates and makes recommendations.
  • Technical Inspections – Visual checks, plus performance and diagnostic testing of cycle times, drift rates and pump flow, give you the inside story on your hydraulic system.
• Planned Maintenance (PM) Agreements – Include on-site services performed to factory specifications. Our trained technicians have extensive equipment knowledge. While on-site, these technicians inspect and maintain your equipment, providing reports with additional indicators that should be addressed to prevent costly repairs. Included during a PM on-site visit is SOS Fluid Analysis, where our technicians maximize equipment life by evaluating trends in oil condition and component water.
• Total Maintenance and Repair – Holt of California provides all maintenance and repair at a guaranteed cost per hour for a specified period of time/hours. Repair management and planned component replacement are important elements of this option to lower your costs and increase your productivity and availability. This agreement allows you to concentrate on your business while we manage your equipment.
